Influence behind this piece:
I remember the day I created this piece vividly. It began with a bunch of enthusiasm to finally meet up with this guy I had been talking to for weeks. As soon as I was about to leave for our date, I had the hardest time reaching him and subsequently noticed that he blocked my number and all of my social media accounts. I was so hurt from being stood up that I stayed home and started drawing. I realised it was aligned for me to stay home that night anyway because I ended up creating one of my favorite pieces thus far and just needed to trust the process.
