Real Preserved Reindeer Moss: 
Preserved moss is not alive, chemically preserved and heat treated for decorative purposes. It is nontoxic, nonhazardous, non-infectious, and does not need any water or sunlight maintenance. After preservation, this moss can last up to 10 years! Refrain from hanging in direct sunlight for maximum longevity. In some cases, slight color stains may occur - however, it can easily wash away from any surface using soap and water.
