This collection of Moss Mirrors was conceived when I was putting together my solo show, where I brought nature to everyday objects & places (check out the show here). I decided to continue this collection of reindeer moss for its bold color, interesting texture, and grounding quality.

At some point last year, I got bored of painting on canvas and paper. The next thing I knew, I was painting on my old wooden desk chair and fell in love with using furniture as my new canvas ever since!
The furniture I work with is usually found while I'm out exploring the streets of Los Angeles. I clean, sand, and prime each piece before painting them with acrylic paint. Once the painting is done, I apply two coats of Polycrylic to seal the paint for long lasting durability.

Furniture pieces are only available for pick up/drop off in areas within a 20mi radius of Hollywood, CA.
